I did check my clear CS, and the amber colored one with a laser beam. I couldn't see much of a difference.
The problem was there wasn't much of a difference in strength between the two.
Did you look at yours in the dark, with a dark background, or are you using another method?
Middle of the house bedroom that was totally dark. It's not like you can see individual particles.
And you can see how dense the beam through one is in comparison to the other one.
That's what I was trying to tell you earlier. Possibly if the Amber CS was 500 PPM or larger it might make a difference, but the clear cs was 8.5 PPM and the amber one was only 12.5 PPM.
I saw the laser beam on the CS, but in both cases it was just a line through the jar. I couldn't tell one from the other.
What makes it Amber if it only has 12.5 PPM
As I posted in another post I would set my CS Generator polarity on DC and manual. [strictly DC] It would take longer, and eventually max out about 6 PPM to7. Then I changed the generator to swap and auto which is [AC and DC] alternating automatically.
The next time I checked, it was turning amber so I shut it down. I don't know what would have happened had I left it for a longer time. The clear does everything I have ask it to do, so [If it aint broke don't fix it]
I prefer the smaller particles.
