Be sure to break that long fast gently! That means eat SMALL amounts, SLOWLY, for at least three days, and keep to your cleansing/rebuilding diet as you are planning. My naturopath likes me to add 1 tsp. metamucil (like baby food psyllium), plus 1 tsp. aloe juice in water, 3x per day with meals until digestion is well established. Remember after a long fast you have BABY digestion!
Last summer I did 30 days fruit/veg diet, then fasted 59 days. One of my goals was to get rid of the major mucous that had settled in my lungs after a terrible bout of flu last December that was still giving me trouble in MAY! I not only shoveled all that mucous out, but have remained very clear until just recently. I am ready for another cleanse. Clear lungs are SO important, and I can only imagine what it must be like living with asthma.
