I am on my 4th day of eating foods again, I went on an 11 day water fast. I had
Watermelon on Monday night, then the next day
Watermelon again and some vegetable broth for dinner, the next day I had vege broth with some carrots and spinach in it. Today I would like to take another step forward, and I feel like I can handle more. I'm sure it's too early to introduce meats but I'd just like to make sure. I've always had a strong stomach and large appetite, since after the fast, the appetite has diminished a bit. I used to eat Italian wedding soup as well, which contains a bunch of veges, and also tiny meatballs, is this okay to eat now or not? If not meats, can I introduce any dressings for a salad, ceasar dressing maybe? Usually with my salads I have lettuce, shredded cheese, croutons, diced ham, and a dressing. what would be a good salad to eat for now? Also can I introduce any breads? Also on occasion I eat a pastry, spanakopita or spinach pie from my Greek side, and it contains filo pastry, spinach and feta, the filling being dipped in egg and butter or olive oil on the filo, would this be okay to eat tonight? I don't wanna rush into things but I also feel like I'm alright to eat. Also I should add when I came off my fast it was on one of the more down days as I needed to end it since I am traveling soon, and because of this I still feel somewhat weak in the body, but my mind for the most part is healthy. Would this take any effect on what I should or shouldn't eat? Also will I start to feel better anytime soon? Thank you in advance.
