Hello all,
I am starting my second water fast, which may go up to 14 days. My first fast was in August, and was of 8 days.
Summary :
1) I have hypertension and a Type 3 Kidney cyst (2 cm in diameter). The allopathic doctor says that some or all of the kidney has to be removed. I would prefer to have it consumed via autolysis.
2) My blood pressure is high (145/100 average), and did not go down with either allopathic medicines or the first fast. It is probably due to the cyst (meaning the cyst did not go away).
3) Fasting is easy for me. I just forget about food. There was no real detox symptom problem either. But since a few lipomas I have did not change, and my hypertension did not go down, I think my cyst did not go away.
4) My goal was never to lose weight, since I was not overweight. But I still lost 24 pounds over the 3 months that included the fast. I was 6'4" with low body fat, and went from 200 down to 176 now.
Now I am starting the longer fast from a thinner beginning, so I hope that is not a problem (and that autolysis happens).
