I have been a member here a long time, but haven't posted in years. After re-visiting some ideas to take a fresh look at addressing my chronic health issues (including almost 20 years dealing with candida), I found myself reading all the articles on Julia Chang's site sensiblehealth.com. I pulled some gold nuggets out of all of the info and was convinced that I needed to do try those herbs.
Fast forward to now, I tried the three weeks of the bitters, curcuma, and coptis, but when I get to the gold coin grass, portion, I experience some bad insomnia. I saw that this was mentioned as a possibility on the directions I was sent so I reduced it to 1/8 teaspoon and STILL had bad insomnia.
To make matters worse, I have been having strange insomnia and heart palpitation reactions to supplements that shouldn't be giving me this. I usually have that problem with caffeine and herbal stimulants. MCT oil and a seed based herbal supplement also gave me these problems.
Also to note that since my first experience with the herbs, I have been experiencing the pain between the shoulder blades I heard people talking about on here, but never experienced before taking the chinese herbs. I am almost certain that all this is related to my liver, but I don't know what else to do now!
I have done multiple
Liver Flushes (Andreas Moritz and
Hulda Clark version) and NEVER experienced any health benefits from them. This was what made me pursue the sensiblehealth.com way of liver decongesting.
Sorry for the novel, but I am hoping that I can get some kind of direction as to where I should go from here.
