Hey all!
Long time no see. Well, I'm back on
The Master Cleanser again. A tad bit apathetic feeling this time. Have felt a bit wishy washy throughout the day as to whether or not I was seriously committed, but I have had my first cup of lemonade just now and I'm IN.
I want to give a bit of a testimonial and a reminder to myself of all that has transpired since my first cleanse back in May 2004.
I weighed like 162
pounds (at 5'3"). I went on for 21 days and got down to around 146
pounds I believe? Since then, I cut all dairy products from my diet. I wasn't ever a red meat eater at the time either, not for 18 years.
I did it a second time, and got down to 138 pounds, but I pretty much went back to and stayed between 142 - 145 and have been there for the past 6 months since the last cleanse in July.
Somehow, in my quest for more nutrition information, recipes, and learning how to cook fresh, whole, lean, nutrious meals for myself, I caught wind of some info about other types of meats that I decided I could not be a part of so, now since right around September, I have been on a Vegan diet.
It's sort of like a truth in me that I never realized before, but once I became aware I could not go back.
I'm very happy with my lifestyle and how I have managed my weight.
I'm back again on day one of the cleanse. I've been dealing with a bit of stress in my life lately and I am hoping this help me to deal with that.
If anyone has any questions about the cleanse, I'll be checking in for a little while, while I'm doing it and I am happy to help.
