I had a laproscopic appendectomy a week ago--originally was supposed to be exploratory to find source of chronic pelvic pain. The doctor noticed that my appendix was red and one end was narrowed so he removed it. I didn't have a bm for two days mostly due to incredible post surgical pain. When I did it was very loose and then became diarrhea. I gave myself and enema after the loose stools stopped and I couldn't go and all that came out was the white worm like mucousy clumps. Anyone know of any connection between appendicitis and parasites? I've has this stuff tested before and all came back negative--do round worms not test postive on parasite tests?! All of the doctors I have seen have been stumped. I'd like to know what the hell is coming out of me that looks like flesh!! Any help or insight would be appreciated as I am totally freaking out and feel terrible.
