Just wondering if anyone here has had Toxocara, and what their symptoms are/were. I am pretty sure I am disseminated, am on a 2nd course of Albenza 3 1/2 days in, losing more hearing, thinking of just stopping because I'm almost deaf. My wife tested negative for Strongyloides, so I highly doubt I'd have it, or she probably would also since it is highly communicable. She did test positive for Toxocara though. Don't really know how long to treat for a disseminated toxocara infection. Still feel like I have a parasite of some sort, still have the crawling feeling in my ears, nose, back end area, along with a ton of other symptoms. Just wish I could figure out what is going on.
Anyway, sorry to babble, need to know if anyone on the site has/had toxocara and how you treated it as well.

This is also symptoms of invisible bird mites. They can, however, be seen when it's dark with a black light. Their reflection can also be seen slightly floating in water with bright overhead light or flashlight. It will be a tiny, irregular shape (like a star).
It is possible for only one in a household to have them.

Does anything you do bring relief? This might be a clue as to what you have. You could take a deep, very hot bath with a quart of 3% peroxide and 1 cup of white vinegar. This makes a weak acidic bath which will not harm you. I used them once or twice per day for months. If you have dark hair, it will lighten it gradually if your head is submerged.

This is a reply to # 2,266,554Hmm...this time around, the Albenza seems to not be doing much. I noticed when I took the ivermectin with the Albenza, my pee stopped being foamy.
Since the 1st go round of Abenza/Ivermectin, my kidneys have become quite sore, and it feels like there is fluid around them.
I'm going to include a list of every symptom I have had since last July. It's a huge list.
1. Headaches
2. Constipation, then diarrhea, then constipation again.
3. Prostatitis
4. Bubbly Urine
5. Lower back pain/ Kidney pain.
6. Excessive Stomach Gurgles.
7. Eye Floaters after taking Vermox.
8. Heartburn.
9. Heart racing/palpitating, especially at night.
10. Sore on perianal area for almost 3 years.
11. Itchy all over.
12. Feeling of something crawling in my ears, nose,in the groin area, and anal area.
13. Mental Fog..confusion, problems making decisions, HUGE amount of crying sometimes just uncontrolled.
14. Neck/Shoulder/Spine pain(lymph areas in neck)
15. Cold feeling like someone put something cold on the lower end of my spine.
16. Mucous in stool.
17. Green stool.
18. Hair loss on ankles.
19. Ear problems/Sinus problems
20. Phlegm after eating a meal.
21. Hard to swallow at times.
22. Feeling bloated.
23. Swelling of the upper, inner thighs of one, then both legs.
24..Have blown out some very small worm looking black things out of my nose..they look almost like thread. Not as thick as thread, though.
25..HUGE loss of vision in just the last year..when I had perfect vision before this all.
26..A weird looking bruise rash right at the base of my spine, almost in the crack of my buttocks. A big round circle.
27. Muscle Aches/pains.
28. Arthritis (fast onset over about 6 months)
29. Chest pain, shortness of breath.
30. Hoarseness and throat irritation.
Those are my symptoms. My heart has really been acting funny since starting the latest course of Albenza.

Albenza did not work for me the first time around. Flagyl did not work for me the first time either.
I had larger round worms, and more worms than I thought possible.

This is a reply to # 2,266,560Bubby my doctor is accepting new patients and he is treating patients for parasites now . He is Dr. Gregory Oh ,Altamonte Springs FLorida. You really do have most of my symptoms , and like I told you before they only test for one specific strongyloide , and you may have picked up one in Jamaica that is not the one they test for. Don't forget the test is not 100 percent . My first one was extremely positive , and my second one was suspicious at 99 percent . The second test I did was several months after treatment to see if I was thinning out the colony. My doctor didn't want to do anymore Elisa tests as my health greatly improved ,but did require me for monthly blood work ,to verify the meds were working and not hurting me. I just seen a commercial for a dog wormer that basically said one mosquito can infect your dog with parasites , but the doctors say mosquitoes don't infect us in the USA , as we have magic mosquitoes that are not parasitic vectors to humans. The highest strongyloides number I had was .64...the others were .28 and .49..So all my tests have been pretty negative. I was however on a TON of steroids between 2010 and 2014. I.V. ones for migraines. Prednisone also. So, if I did have something, it could have disseminated.

This is a reply to # 2,266,868So you have .64 percent of a strongyloide stercalis which is what the test is for . What if you have a strongyloide ratti or a trichostrongyle. They May have only 40 to 60 percent of the DNA of the strongyloide stercalis .

Bubby, I think you might have PTSD and that is why your heart could be acting funny.
OR, if you have not taken Antibiotics yet, you could have bacterial growth on your heart vavle from the die-off.

Hi Flossy...
I could not find her post.
I was only able to take the Albenza 9 days the first go around, and 4 days the second. Did not take the Ivermectin with it this 2nd time, due to the fact that my wife came back positive for Toxocara. She was negative for Strongyloides, so I doubt very much that I HAVE strongyloides if she doesn't, based on how contagious it is. I am almost positive now with this new information that I have disseminated toxocara. But, I don't know anymore like I said.
No doctor listens. I'm just crazy according to them.
