Archus,
I am proud of you, my friend! Yes, lets take this discussion off-line. No one else is interested in our weight loss trials & tribulations.
I admit that my stomach is an EVIL MONSTER, and it DEMANDS to be fed, taking over the brain and making it focus on BAD temptations. In spite of this, I limit severely what I eat. I can see how people can become super-obese. The wife complains that I am not eating all of her food! My response? I point to my belly.
I also do 1.5 miles on the treadmill every day at a Random Level-9 (6 degree incline) that gets my HR to the cardio rate. (I burn 200 calories on the treadmill, and just 1 candy bar will negate all that hard work!) That is 1/2 hr every day at the cardio heart rate. Then I lift weights for 1/2 hour. I repeat each weight until it stings. It does feel great when leaving the gym.
BTW, the gym workout simply wakes up the stomach and it begins demanding FOOD. It says FEED ME! FEED ME! I ignore the little monster. (There must be a feedback loop for calories burned directly to the stomach monster)
I have lost 10 lbs since we started this project, and I have 25 lbs more to go. My pot belly is noticeably smaller.
