Help Making Ozonated Olive Oil Pleas...

Background: i been using ozone for years for odor remediation however they all operate off of ambient air. I just recently purchased 3 10 g/hr ozone generators made with a quartz tube that i can hook up oxygen to and i have an oxygen concentrator. i purchased the oil making kit from promolife and purchased zoe organic extra virgin olive oil.
My fist try:
setup: 10 g/hr ozone generator with air pump going into air dryer then quartz ozone tube resulted in lots of foam in my flask after a day and a half(most likely from nitric) i than turned off the air pump and hooked my oxygen concentrator and had it going and different lpm from 1 - 5 mostly about 2/lpm
Results: After 24 hours on oxygen at 10 g/hr ozone my oil become clear, lots of little bubbles (air bubbles or ozone bubbles), very very thick, never changed into a cream color. At this point i thought it was done and that is when i found out how thick it was and worse yet it was more sticky, so sticky and thick it could not be spread.
What did i do wrong?
wrong oil?
to much flow for 1000 ml oil?
should of left it keep going longer?
Nitric ruined it?
how do i clean up my oil making stuff so far i had to use mineral spirits to clean outside of flask and somewhat the inside of the flask. would acetone or muratic acid work better?

This is a reply to # 2,260,991First, your are correct, using air fed ozone is a bad idea. Not only nitric acid, but any contamination in the air can contaminate the oil. While that is not a good thing, I doubt it actually did any irreparable harm at that point.
Oxygen fed ozone generators is the only way ozonated olive oil should be produced. Also, be sure your oxygen concentrator is working, as they age, the oxygen purity drops. That makes it a fancy air dryer...
You may need to just bubble ozone into the column for longer. 1 day may not be sufficient. You most likely need 2 days to a week with that small of an ozone generator.
Also,
The smaller bubbles the better.
Taller the column the better.
Higher Concentration of ozone (lower flow) is better.
Nice glass chamber to use below.

This is a reply to # 2,266,326Actually the bubble size in oil does not matter unlike water. complete different animals. also the part where you and lots of others state low flow = more O3 - Ozone concentration; that is correct with low flow devices. mine are high flow 10 g/hr it is taking me 12 hours to ozone 800 ml. of olive oil. i have a .50oz container sitting out of fridge in 72-80 degree room for 2 weeks as soon as i take cap off you can smell the ozone emitting from the salve from 1-2' away. had i went much longer ozonating the oil i would have started to make plastic. the olive oil i'm currently using is called ZOE i think amazon may actually own it.

This is a reply to # 2,266,576Hi I have a 10 g/h ceramic titanium generator i put together. i tried to make ozonated olive oil and the inside of my glass bottle was caked with horrible white sticky stuff. i wandered if it was from the stone diffuser as a by product. so did you also get really bad white sticky stuff? virtualy impossible to get of the glass. when i tried using my stone diffuser months later with a different generator some of the white stuff came out into my new glass.
let me know more of your thoughts. is it possible to see a photo of your set up

Always use oxygen to produce ozonated olive oil. The purity issue is a huge part of this, but also the solubility factor of oxygen vs air.

do you recommend using 1 liter per minute flow rate.
what bubbler did you use.

This is a reply to # 2,269,045used a glass bubbler, and about 3 l/m o2 can ozonate 800 ml olive oil in 14 hours. sent Samples to a leading US Manufacture of Ozonated Oils as they did not think i could ozonate quality oil in that time frame. and when they received ours, it had went to liquid as there was a delay in shipping they refrigerated it. and then tested it. even after being liquid and returning to salve ours was more saturated with O3 - Ozone than there's although it was a little thicker as well.
we now successfully made soap although the dry time for 100% olive oil soap is very long. i think we will be doing an aloe and ozonated olive oil soap and put in a tiny bit of Sugar as that will make it bubbly and sodium lactate as that will harden up the bars of soap. - Re: Help Making Ozonated Olive Oil P... This is a reply to # 2,269,045flow rate is dependent on if it is a high flow or a low flow device your using in your case it is your ozone generator, with low flow .50 or less is better with high flow 2, 3, 5, 10 l/m can be used dependent upon the configuration, amount of oil, etc...
the bubble size does not matter as mush with oil as compared to water. ozonating water you need a fine diffuser but oil will bond with o3 much easier then water will. thus if you wanted you could simply poke holes in your silicon tubing that is in your oil. do not use a stone diffuser as that will clog up and break down.
