its more fundamental than that.
in this exchange, jesus is talking about revelation from the father. jesus says that he will build his church upon THAT - revelation from the father. it all comes from the father.
and there is another of those undefined terms - church.
what is church?
1577 ekklēsía(from 1537 /ek, "out from and to" and 2564 /kaléō, "to call") – properly, people called out from the world and to God, the outcome being the Church (the mystical body of Christ) – i.e. the universal (total) body of believers whom God calls out from the world and into His eternal kingdom.
[The English word "church" comes from the Greek word kyriakos, "belonging to the Lord" (kyrios). 1577 /ekklēsía ("church") is the root of the terms "ecclesiology" and "ecclesiastical."]
this guy is calling the word "divine nature". that s*** is made up and i have no respect for that.
jesus is the second adam. adam dies after about a thousand years. a thousand years is as a day to the lord. then after three days (thousand years), he was sent in the form of jesus of nazareth. three days in the earth. three days to be perfected, to be without sin.
stop with the gobbledygoop language. i refuse to learn it or respond to it. i dont need your education to know god. no one needs your education to know god. it would probably be an impediment.
you tell me what makes sense. if jesus was the first adam then adam was the first jesus.
here is a question. what does begotten mean?
3439 monogenḗs (from 3411 /misthōtós, "one-and-only" and 1085 /génos, "offspring, stock") – properly, one-and-only; "one of a kind" – literally, "one (monos) of a class, genos" (the only of its kind).
adam is called the son of god. jesus is called the son of god.if both are begotten, they are one in the same.
so, what does begotten mean?
i am dealing with a humpty dumpty in this thornsandnails character. you are not helping.
