I just found this a page back and thought I'd repost cause I thought it was very good info and also to help folks remember that the
Master-Cleanse is something other than a weight loss diet.
Good luck Beckah and please keep us posted on your progress

I remember reading that during a fast the body will eat up scar tissue for fuel before it eats up healthy cells. That doesn't sound right, but I know for fact that my scar tissue in my lungs was _DRASTICALLY_ cleared up while on the MC. The pain and stiffness (scar tissue) lessened, I could breathe deeper and easier. Hard to explain the benefits & the dramatic difference, but let me just say that it was completely physically noticeable by me.
I'm hoping to do another chest xray soon to see if the scarring has visibly lessened... & once I get to do my 40-day MC, then I'll have another chest xray post MC. That'll be irrefutable evidence of fasting clearing up lung scar tissue. But I'll have to wait a bit to start the
Master-Cleanse again.

Do I remember correctly that you mentioned that you worked in a photo lab?
Are your lung issues due to chemical fumes from the chemistry?
If so what type of processing did you do. B&W, E6? C41? or color print chems?
I'm curious as my background is fine art photography and though I've gone digital I spent many years doing my own B&W processing and many hours in the darkroom with my hands soaking in Dektol, Acetic acid and Hypo.
