Hi there,
This has been answered many times in the last two weeks. Check them. They're right here below this post.
Grossly :
-
Iodine in the liquid form (
SSKI or Lugol's) causes some stomach discomfort to some people. Others can tolerate it perfectly.
- Apparently,
Iodine with food (specifically vitamin C) converts to iodiDe. So you *might* loose the I2 (iodiNe) effects.
Nevertheless, some users report good success taking the
Lugol with food or even orange juice.
I would say : Try both options for yourself and read the forum.
Don't worry if it's still unclear to you what all that means, if you start the
Iodine journey sooner or later you will be forced to learn about all these things.
Btw, never forget the cosupps specially the 200-400mcg/day of selenoomethionine.
Good luck!
