My only concern is that people today are brainwashed into thinking that going to a church building equals salvation. This mind set finds many people sitting in churches who are not even saved. It finds them sitting under false teachings and false ministers. We need to make sure people know the truth and have their priorities straight. Going to a church building to meet with other Christians and to be taught the truth of God's word is a great blessing. However, on the other hand, it is not always an easy task to find a church that is preaching the truth. This is especially true in today's world. Many churches today are set up as businesses. Many ministers are in the business for selfish gains. People are being lied to and manipulated. What is even worse is that many people come out of these places thinking that this is what God is like. That causes them to either turn on God or become an agnostic. People need to first be taught to get the truth for themselves from the Bible and prayer. They need to be taught to examine what the ministers and people in these churches are teaching them to see if it is true. This is the Bible way of doing things. This is God's true way of doing things. This is the message of the Bible. The important things in the Bible, that we need to learn in order to live a Christian life, is plain enough for all to read and understand. Yes, there are some subjects that man may never understand like end times. God loves a good mystery, but He also saw to it that the way of salvation is clear to all who seek it. Most people find, as they read the Bible, that God speaks to them personally through it.
Yes, I have heard that some read the Bible and get nothing out of it. Many atheists claim this. They read it as they would any book. It should be read with an open mind and with prayer to get the most out of it. Then again some claim they have started reading the Bible as any book, not believing it is a book inspired by God, and could then see truth. They then became believers and received Jesus as a result of reading the Bible.
I'm just saying that the Bible does teach us we should examine what we are being taught to see if it is truth. The major way we have of testing what we are taught is with the scriptures. We all know the story of the Bereans in Acts 17. They were considered more noble because they searched the scriptures for themselves to make sure what they were taught was truth. With so many false ministers in our churches today we must let people know that they must examine what they are being taught.
The church is the body of Christ. Curezone has definitely shown that it is not the body of Christ, although their are many posters within curezone who belong to Christ and are therefore part of the church. I hope that answers your question about curezone being a church. You should know that there are many on curezone leading people astray with false teachings. How could I think that this place is a church?
I must say good bye to you, Tomi. I cannot trust you. I must trust God. I place my trust in God. I do not place my trust in any man, lest I be lead astray. Good bye Tomi, with tears. :(.
Tomi: Reading through all the latest 'post's' It appears in some strange way that one has to follow a certain protocol to achieve a certain level of knowledge to be able to been seen to have a diploma level to be accepted by God.
Rainy: Could you please explain the protocol necessary? I really don't see it. Sorry to be so blind.
Tomi: I'm not sure whether it's caused by Biblical knowledge snobbery or whatever, but it leaves me to think that it is a requisite to be able to talk about one's beliefs.
Rainy: The belief that the Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God is a basic tenet of the Christian faith. The sad part is that some have twisted scripture and misinterpreted it to create false teachings. My idea of a Christian Debate forum is to sort this stuff out together to come up with the truth. Of course, I do study it on my own with prayer as well. I pray frequently that God would give me pure doctrine. There have been those on this forum that claim to be Christians who do not believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God. This is a very dangerous belief and it is far from a true Christian belief. This false belief leads many astray. If you wish to discuss beliefs that are not biblical, I would say you are in the wrong forum. You do have a right to these beliefs, but they are not Christian beliefs. If you do not see the Bible as being the inerrant word of God that may be why you see others on here as Biblical snobs. I really don't know, but again since it is a basic tenet to the Christian faith that is what is to be expected in a Christian forum. I copied an article for you about it here:
The Holy Bible is the Inspired and Infallible Word of God
The next basic fundamental tenet that must be fully believed and accepted is that all of the Bible has come directly to us from God the Father through the Holy Spirit, and that all of it is totally infallible and inerrant as a result. Since all of the Bible has been totally inspired by the God through the Holy Spirit, this now makes all of the Bible totally infallible and inerrant since both God the Father and the Holy Spirit are totally perfect in Their actual personalities.
The Bible is the real Word of God. The Bible is God’s direct Word to all of us. As such, God has made sure to make all of it completely reliable, trustworthy, and truthful so we could all be totally dependent upon it for our daily living with Him.
Here are two key, powerful verses giving us this direct revelation that all of the Bible has been given direct to us by the inspiration of God Himself through the Holy Spirit:
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16)
“… knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” (2 Peter 1:20)
These two verses specifically tell us, without any other possible interpretation, that all of the Bible has been given to us by the “inspiration of God” through holy men who were “moved by the Holy Spirit” to write what they wrote! In other words – all of the words in the Bible have come directly to us from God the Father through the Holy Spirit. The specific authors of the Bible then wrote under the guidance, inspiration, and illumination of the Holy Spirit.
Again, if any church or denomination does not preach that all of the Bible is totally inspired by God, along with all of it being totally infallible and inerrant, then I would not trust that church and I would go to another one that does teach that all of the Bible is totally inspired by God the Father through the Holy Spirit, along with all of it being totally infallible and inerrant. I do not believe there is any slack with God the Father on this issue since the Bible is God’s only direct Word to all of us down here on this earth.
If our Bible is the real Word of God, then we can totally trust that God has given us a fully finished and completed piece of work. As such, all of it will be totally infallible and inerrant since all of it is coming direct from God Himself. If God Himself is totally perfect, then we can count that all of His Word to us will also be totally perfect.
In our Statement of Faith, we once again state that we believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and that it was given to us by inspiration of God through the Holy Spirit for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction so that we may all be made complete and thoroughly equipped for every good work for the glory of God Himself.

Tomi: To not know the difference between what is 'good' and what is 'not good' in respect to living our lives alongside each other I feel doesn't require "diploma's" and neither do I believe what Jesus preaches require one either.
Rainy: I would agree with that. I kept my degree in Theology a secret on this forum for years. We had a poster recently who addressed me personally about it and so I gave in and blabbed it. This was probably a major mistake. Like Refreshed told him/her it just would give people something more to crow about and this may be what you are doing with me now. I'm sure there are many others who have participated and still are participating in the forum that have kept their mouths shut about their Theological education for the same reasons. I was hoping that it would not cause problems, but it may be time for me to move on anyway. I'll see what happens.
Tomi: I constantly read that one must read the Bible for guidance
in one's life. Well maybe what is written in that book might be of use to one when we are at a loss what to do but in our hearts mind one knows whatever one does is done with good intent.
Rainy: They must work together. God gave us all a conscience for a good reason. We should use it. He also gave us the Bible for a good reason. We should use His words in that to help guide us as well. He also gave us the Holy Spirit to guide, teach and help us. I would not want to leave out any one of these.
Rainy: The Holy Spirit does not give out diplomas. He will always have something new to teach all of us if we are willing. I'm sorry that I gave you a "better than you" feeling. Sometimes your posts do not reflect Christian beliefs at all and I disagree with those posts. Maybe you consider that condescending, but those are my beliefs. If you insist that I have to agree with your posts that are anti Christian in order to not be condescending towards you, I just can't do that. I am totally confused about you and your beliefs. This does not make me better than you, for you do have a right to your own beliefs. I wish you would tell us plainly what you believe as far as Christianity goes.
The Book of Enoch is any of several pseudepigraphal (falsely attributed works, texts whose claimed authorship is unfounded) works that attribute themselves to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah; that is, Enoch son of Jared (Genesis 5:18). Enoch is also one of the two people in the Bible taken up to heaven without dying (the other being Elijah), as the Bible says "And Enoch walked with God, and he was not; for God took him." (Genesis 5:24; see alsoHebrews 11:5). Most commonly, the phrase "Book of Enoch" refers to 1 Enoch, which is wholly extant only in the Ethiopic language.
The biblical book of Jude quotes from the Book of Enoch in verses 14-15, “Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: ‘See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.’” But this does not mean the Book of Enoch is inspired by God and should be in the Bible.
Jude’s quote is not the only quote in the Bible from a non-biblical source. The Apostle Paul quotes Epimenides inTitus 1:12but that does not mean we should give any additional authority to Epimenides’ writings. The same is true with Jude, verses 14-15. Jude quoting from the book of Enoch does not indicate the entire Book of Enoch is inspired, or even true. All it means is that particular verse is true. It is interesting to note that no scholars believe the Book of Enoch to have truly been written by the Enoch in the Bible. Enoch was seven generations from Adam, prior to the Flood (Genesis 5:1-24). Evidently, though, this was genuinely something that Enoch prophesied – or the Bible would not attribute it to him, “Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men…” (Jude 14). This saying of Enoch was evidently handed down by tradition, and eventually recorded in the Book of Enoch.
We should treat the Book of Enoch (and the other books like it) in the same manner we do the other Apocryphal writings. Some of what the Apocrypha says is true and correct, but at the same time, much of it is false and historically inaccurate. If you read these books, you have to treat them as interesting but fallible historical documents, not as the inspired, authoritative Word of God.
