Intersting.Thnx for the links. It definitely seems like sugar alcohols provide a much better environment for Candida than its does good bacteria.

So what I gather from this is that xylitol might initially effect candida's adhesion ,but the continuous presence of xylitol(perhaps overload) might cause candida to become more fungal and adapt by creating more invasive roots so that it can adhere to the intestinal wall.

What is your opinion on D-Mannose? Do you think the same situation would apply with D-Mannose?

Some research indicates that D-mannose effects the adhesion of bad bacteria. I haven't seen any research on its effect with candida?

Dr. McCombs .. I'm on your plan currently, but also have symptoms of Sjogrens, ie severe dry mouth, and I've been using Xylitol tabs and mouthwash to keep my mouth moisturized. Is this ok in this instance?

Also, have you seen your plan have any effect on people with Sjogrens' symptoms?
