Don't know if you have considered a pre-cleanse diet... but if you start now you can avoid many of the first week detox crises that make a fast so tough. I like
big bowl of fruit and good natural yogurt for breakfast (whiz as smoothie if you like)
big salad for lunch
all the vegetarian vegetable soup you want for dinner (same soup you break with) -- add cayenne and lots of garlic, excellent cleanser!
Also, LOTS of water and all the fresh fruit/veg juices you like.
Taper off or STOP coffee,
Sugar etc. ASAP. These are the major culprits for first week suffering!
