The P& B shake is NOT a part of the original master cleanse protocol by Stanley Burroughs. I suggest that you buy the book so that you can know with certainty that what you are reading is the real master cleanse directions & then you can make your own decisions as you see fit. Check out the FAqs list at the top of the page or the CureZone Google on the right to search for specific info.

You can easily find The Master Cleanse book at any health food store it's under $10.00 U.S. dollars. The copy that I found on-line was not word for word so I pesonally don't trust it as a guide. But you can Google it & find it. I don't feel comfortable giving out the link because of this as I believe you should get the book so that there are no misunderstandings.

As far as the swf & the laxative herbal teas according to the book you can do one or the other if you like. For some people doing the swf & the teas is too much for their system to handle. IF you do the tea only take one cup in the morning & one before bed. Those are Burrough's instructions. However, if this is still too much then perhaps take one cup at bedtime. Or simply do the swf without the laxative teas. We all have different tolerance levels so do what is best for you.

Also, mint tea or gently massaging your tummy may help in getting your stomach settled.

you don't HAVE to do the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) if you do the lax tea day and night. The P&B shakes are not part of the original Master-Cleanse but something some people add on to do something called the "Ultimate Cleanse." The P&B shakes are separate and apart from the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) and lax tea and do not replace them.

I have done five MC's and never seen anything hideous come out of me except a little mucous.

You don't hafta do the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) but I do believe it is the most efficient way to get the toxins out since it cleanses the whole GI track.
