Fact: Using a computer for long periods of time won't harm the eyes. But it makes the eyes blink less than normal, making them dry and results to eyestrain or fatigue.
Myth: Wearing glasses too much will make the eyes "dependent" on them.
Fact: Refractive errors change as kids get older. Changes in eye problems are likely due to genetics and continues despite wearing eyeglasses.
Myth: Reading in dim light is harmful to your eyes.
Fact: However, reading under a good lighting can make it easier and prevent eyestrain.
Myth: Eyes can be transplanted.
Fact: Our eyes are connected to the brain by the optic nerve that cannot be reconnected once severed. The cornea is the one that is transplanted. Corneal transplant is sometimes confused with an eye transplant.
