I have five amalgams, all on the right side of my mouth and all are less then two years old...had I known what I know now, I would have NEVER allowed my dentist to put them in.
Anyway, we finally have the funds to get them taken out....however, it would be cheaper to get them taken out all at once....with it being five...is this dangerous? I know I have read somewhere that you should do it in phases but I can't remember if five is still too much...two of them would need to be crowned....
Lastly, I have no idea what chelating is....or whatever it is you do when you detox/bind metals and express them out of your body, does anyone have a good book or literature to direct me to?Advertisement

Yes, it is much safer to remove one Amalgam per month or one Amalgam per year than to do it all at once the same day.
If you do it all at once the same day, you may get poisoned, by both mercury and by chemicals used in the new filling.
All dental fillings contain toxic chemicals.
Many modern fillings emit toxic fumes the first few hours, poisoning both the patient and the dentist.
I would opt to take one Amalgam every 6 months.

This is a reply to # 2,216,650Amalgams are removed by quadrants. You said that they are on the same side so it will be easy to get them removed all at once.
Also get tested with 23andme.com. It is a genetics test that can determine whether you have a methylation problem. It is better to know before removal I think so that you can find the best way to get the mercury out of your body.
