Was this article written by an athiest or just a flesh immersed scoffer who calls himself a "believer"?
Bible idoloters and other false teachers who do not believe that the Lord is pouring out His Spirit on his true disciples today love to assume that a follower today can not match or surpass the deeds of the believers in the bible... that a wonderful modern day poem or psalm can not be written by a Spirit filled believer, that stories worthy of books that will be written in heaven can not be experienced and written today. Of course this is a lie. The same Holy Spirit that lived in the true believers in the book of Acts and even in the Lord Jesus Himself lives in the true believers today.
These flesh immersed scoffers who experience no Holy Spirit power in their own lives love to believe that God and all of His true servants can be fully contained in an inch thick book and that none of the Lord's billions of followers throughout history outside of this inch can ever come into His blessing more prolifically than the tiny sample of believers (i would say one believer in about 10 million) which were written about 2000 years ago or longer before population exploded and writing and sharing new holy stories became simpler and potentially much more prolific like today... stories which we will see in the libraries of heaven even if never here on earth.
Also it is falsely assumed by these unbelieving scoffers that the holy blessings experienced by those written about in the bible are exhaustive... which is ridiculously closed minded. One obvious example of this is found in John 21:25 where John says, "And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written." Of course flesh immersed "believers" with no Holy Spirit power in their own lives will scoffingly doubt that believers outside of the bible can be fantastically blessed by the living God including being caught up into heaven many times and shown around as is true with Kat Kerr and 3 personal friends of mine, but those who are surrendered to the Living God, dead to their old nature, born again in, filled with and led by the Holy Spirit with the Lord's miracles pouring through their surrendered lives on a daily basis certainly know better. Receiving Jesus as Savior and Lord, and all of these other aspects of living holy unto the Lord all are essential if we are to experience God's glory. Kat Kerr knows this first hand and scoffers like you and the above author do not.
Kat and i worship the precious Father through His precious Son the Lord Jesus, not ourselves, but we do know whose children we are and how much He loves us and wants to include us in His holy work which is as rest to those who rest in Him. I do hope one day soon that you will come into this kind of relationship with Him as well instead of whatever it is that you have now which makes you scoff at any good thing the Lord wants to do through His children and get nasty with His children for being used of Him and sharing their experiences. What is this relationship you have anyway? How would you describe it? I am sad for you, but i have nothing even remotely resembling unforgiveness and i pray the best for you.
ps: Kat's pink hair is awesome. Blessings to you Vektek in the name of the Lord Jesus.
... or maybe you are being used by the enemy realm to come against true disciples of the Lord Jesus who have chosen to follow Him with all of their hearts, minds, souls and Spirits, with all that we are and everything within us, every minute of every day?
red flags go off in my head about you.
And me you vektek! But really it's not you, it's the you know what's that have taken control, just as they had with the previous couple of flesh immersers who wanted to come against holiness... as unholiness always wants to do. You seem to pick and choose the scriptures and interpret them in a way which allows you to feel that it's ok to remain in captivity to sin. Flesh immersion was never a part of the Lord's plan, nor unrepentance or unforgiveness, all three of which you champion. All those questions i asked you about what my Lord Jesus said... all those ways in which you are not living as He calls us to live, were you too uncomfortable about how far off you were from the Lord's plan to answer? Why do you ignore the teachings of the Lord Jesus and then falsely parade yourself as someone who honors the scriptures?
I am not in captivity to sin. Jesus has set me free. I am a slave to righteousness,
If this were true, i would be very happy for you. But i very clearly see flesh immersion in your behavior.
but I also know I am weak, and in need of the Lord every moment.
My strength comes only from the Lord and i need Him every moment too, so we have finally found some common ground. Where we are different is that am so nearly dead to my old nature through unrelenting prayer towards this which brought major breakthrough and continued daily prayer for this, that the Holy Spirit who lives in me truly has been given the reigns. My heart is connected to the Father's heart every minute of every day and when i coast, i coast holy... but of course i am completely reliant upon the Lord every second of every day who does this for me. It is quite obvious that your struggle against sin continues to be quite a bit stronger than mine. Your flesh remains very strong and you need to crucify it.
Joni Tada puts it nicely how I believe in her devotional today, and I agree with her that closeness to the Lord will show itself in humility. I've for sure got work that needs to be done in that area, but you sure do too.
Humility to me is living in complete surrender to the Lord which is something i very much have. Your will Lord, not mine be done. I want only to live pleasing unto you, doing everything you ask. If there is any sin in me Lord, please reveal it to me now so that i can immediately repent of it. I want to live holy unto you Lord, only by your Spirit, taking every thought captive and bringing it into obedience to You. I love you Lord, everything about you and all that you love. Please keep me in your will because i never want to step outside of it even for a second.
Humility to you is believing you have to remain in your sin lest you be thought boastful when you say, "thanks to the Lord who answered my fervent prayers, i am dead to my sin nature and now live by the Spirit". You believe it is not ok to share praise reports of how the Lord is working through our surrendered lives, sharing the blessings He has given us, the prayers he has answered, the deliverances and the healings. I call your version of humility "false humility". and it is a great crippler to the body of Christ. Please come out of this lie and become a vastly more productive member of the body.
