Hi everybody,
I need your help and advice. I have had a recent relapse of bad sleep and muscle pain in my arms, although this time it is worse. My doctor believes that after four negative stool tests and strange symptoms, I do not have parasites but rather have an autoimmune or neurological disorder.
I have no idea what to think. I genuinely don't know anymore and can only tell that my health is declining again. I still have one treatment left of the Ivermectin and a naturopathic remedy called Artemisinen and would like to take both, but I'm worried about my liver. I had blood work done on Thursday to test for Lime's disease and check my liver/kidneys.
Should I wait for my results from the blood work, or say screw it and take the Ivermectin (then the Artemisinen)? Or should I be cautious because of the side effects of the Ivermectin?
I REALLY appreciate the help/advice.

This is a reply to # 2,205,997Anybody? I got the results and my ALT levels were slightly raised - 65. Does anybody know if that is an indication of a certain kind of parasite? ICU?

This is a reply to # 2,206,168That could mean a few things... more info is needed. iga, ige, igg are usually the indicators, but but again, can point to anything from allergies to viruses.
Usually Alt points to a viral infection like hep or mono.. but not always. It can be elevated if you're dehydrated too.- Re: I need help/advice, ASAP BogoEN

I actually read somewhere that it wasn't bad for your liver, but people react to it so bad. I probably would advise against it at the moment. Everything, even vitamins are processed by your liver... maybe hit the milk thistle for a little.
Up fluids too.
My cat gets elevated alt when he eats food with grains and then has an allergic reaction which leads to a hunger strike (fasting) & dehydration intil I can get an antihistamine into him... Cats aren't people lol but animals will fast when they're not well.. I'm not suggesting a fast, but maybe avoid meat protein for a few days. That's hard on the liver. Fruit/veg stuff is supposed to be good.

This is a reply to # 2,206,184Not ill, per se, but I've had nausea of a strange kind now off and on for months, worst in the evenings. Bad sleep as well. I also have some kind of issue in my large intestine - mucous in stool, swelling, etc. It has been so difficult to on this thing down.
I took Ivermectin originally because I had found these small little greenish things in the toilet which matched hookworms when I did a google image search. But my GP sent one to the lab to get analyzed and it came back as not a parasite. I'm so frustrated...- Re: I need help/advice, ASAP username7414

This is a reply to # 2,206,205Do you have access to albendazole and pyrantel? Pyrantel will kill hookworm in dogs, but dogs have shorter systems than we do... it works in kids too but not sure about adults. You could proba ly do a 3 day round of albendazole without much liver stress. If you take it with ivermectin, it's amazing... but you have to take ivermectin on an empty stomach and albendazole with a fatty meal.
I have a ton of albendazole tablets that I've been sending to people but i don't know if they'd make it through customs. Normall I'll print "vitamin supplement" on a label and paste it over where it says "albendazole"

This is a reply to # 2,206,205A Wormwood combo will work well for hookworms. Any parasite will cause intestinal inflamation, mucous etc. Ivermectin is more for skin parasites but it helps to keep the worms sterile. The hookworms were pretty easy to kill but there were many of them. Keep you bowels moving and drink alot to clear toxins from your body they will cause nausea and bad sleep. You can also take l arigine and l ornithine before bed and that will help with sleep and toxins.
