Wondering if anyone has suggestions for customizing/improving my drug protocol for parasites. I have some kind of roundworm for sure, suspect dwarf
Tapeworm and may still have liver flukes I definitely had the flukes a few years ago and did lots of herbal things/flushes and passed a ton of them one day. Haven't seen any evidence of them in over a year and last year took both triclabendazole and alinia at different times and didn't see anything resembling flukes, but I do still have a feeling of fullness in my liver/gallbladder area and I know flukes are supposed to be very hard to kill, so maybe I have some strong ones still lurking.
Anyway -- I took pyrantel for 3 days last week and within a few hours of the first dose I started passing roundworms. I wasn't sure how long to continue the pyrantel and had read good things about fenbendazole for roundworms, so I stopped the pyrantel and took the fenbendazole for a few days. Passed a bunch of teeny eggs (size of a pin head and looked like little vitamin E capsules), but didn't really notice passing anymore adult worms while on the fenbendazole. The eggs may have just been a result of the earlier doses of pyrantel since they did show up the first day of the fenbendazole, which was the day after I stopped taking pyrantel.
I then started taking albendazole and prazi yesterday (ICU's protocol) and they gave me an awful headache. I may have passed some
parasites today, but it was hard to tell whereas it was easy to tell I passed roundworms with the pyrantel.
So I'm trying to determine if the prazi/alben protocol is best for me at this point. I strongly suspect dwarf
Tapeworm but the only
parasite I know I have 100% for sure is the roundworm. I've ordered niclosimide (sp?) and it should be here in a weak. I have Ivermectin and mendbendazole too, but have tried menbendazole a couple of times and it didn't seem to do anything for me.
Having to take 40g of fat 2x/day is hard since I really need to lose weight and I gain on that much fat. So I guess I'm wondering if the albendazole is really necessary and/or if prazi is necessary since I'm not sure I have a tapeworm. Really curious about Ivermectin but don't want to switch drugs again right away unless I have good reasons to, so I wanted to see what some of you experienced posters thought. I'd love to get ICU's imput but I understand he is taking a break for CZ.
Thanks!
