Am revisiting a topic that has been talked about at length on here I know, but I need some advice on Borax please. I have read many of the old posts and I have just started to take Borax for my systemic candida.
I had been taking
Iodine for about 5 months and feeling pretty good but I did find that it made my candida worse. This doesn’t happen to everyone but I am high in metals, namely lead and some mercury, and I know that the
Iodine displaces these metals, this in turn spreads candida, so by the end of 5 months of
Iodine use my candida was pretty bad - constant thrush, blocked ears and many other symptoms I recognise as candida. I tried some other antifungals, got severe die-off from coconut oil and even eating sauerkraut, but still no better. Then I got sick with bronchitis, despite the iodine and
Colloidal Silver (I put this down to a lot of stress at the time - recently separated, moving house etc), anyway I ended up on
Antibiotics which of course made the candida even worse – so now in desperation I have turned to Borax. It had been suggested to me before but after buying the Borax powder several months ago I ended up too scared to try it – still scared but also desperate so I’ve taken the plunge. Anyway I am taking only 1/16th teaspoon in 750ml of water and sipping throughout the day. I am 5 days in and haven’t noticed much yet except slightly headachy and a bit more tired than usual. Also some chest twinges.
Oh, and I also have this constant tickle in my throat, left over from the bronchitis – no idea what this is and I have had it for 2 months now – am thinking it might be fungal.
So I would appreciate some advice on whether I am taking enough, or should I increase the dose and try and blast my candida? Can I keep taking Borax for a length of time or should I start/stop it? I notice some people taking for 5 days then stop for a couple. Does candida build a resistance to it after a time? I am back on the iodine now (100mg daily) after about a month and a half off, so I am really hoping things will improve soon :-)
