I just called the kids pediatricion and lied and said that everyone is still pooping out live pinworms after our 2 doses of Albenza. She said "it must be reinfection" (or maybe 2 doses isnt enough??) and called us all in an RX another round. We will each get 4 of the 200mg Albenza tabs... total of 20-200mg pills for me and the 4 kids. In all honesty, I have no idea if anyone in the house is still infected, the teenagera claim no and the 2 younger ones its hard to tell. Every couple days I'll see what looks like a piece of rice... but its not consistently present... but I want to hammer us all at the same time and hit from every angle.
PinX stuns/paralyzes the worms, so I assume that makes them lose their grip while feeding? And they can be flushed out via enema or laxative?
Albenza disrupts their energy? Do you know what that even means? It starves them, but does that mean they lose their grip on you, or they maintain their grip, but eventually die because they can not feed off of you? If that's the case, then it would be normal to see them coming out yet a week after taking a dose?
