Greetings and Salutations Dear Hearts,
Well, I’m on my second post day and feeling great.
I would like to thank everyone here, as I would not have done this without reading about all your experiences.
Your taking the time to write about the experiences you've had allow skeptics to cross the line into greater understanding and give newbies a support system that is just totally outstanding.
Kudos to all.
I would have posted starting with my first day and joined the starting group, but I’m in a bit of a hectic mode along with a job changeover.
So this will be my brief (hopefully) synopsis. With the intent that this may help someone else.
DAY 1 Thursday
Prior to the
Master-Cleanse I averaged 5 cups of coffee a day. I did not stop my coffee before doing the MC. If you have not experienced caffeine withdraw before (twice for me) I strongly suggest you take the advice of the board and get off coffee before the MC. My headache started the first day along with a feeling of strange physical displacement. Got home from work and took a nap to get away from the pain. I went to bed that night with a headache,
Day 2
and woke up to the second day with a headache. My recovery seems to be quicker than most as by noon it cleared up. Took a nap after work.
Day 3 Saturday
I had been apprehensive about the
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) so didn’t start it till the third day. I had started on the
Master-Cleanse on a Thursday and was worried about it conflicting with work.
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) worked like a charm. I don’t recommend this, I mean delaying the SWF. The body needs to eliminate the toxins and the flush aids the body in the amount of toxins it can dump each day. Feel great!
Day 4 thru Day 7
No problemo’s feel great!
Am doing the
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) after I get home from work. (I go in real early, get off early) This worked fine for me.
Yes, it is fun to smell food! lol My wife took her dinner out to the patio, I followed her. She says, I came out here so it wouldn’t affect you, doesn’t the smell bother you? No, I said, I came out here to smell your food. lol
Day 8 thru 10
I’d had no cravings before, but the last 3 days my body says some food would be nice.My tongue is still coated so I ignore it. Feel great! I have dinner plans for Wednesday so I can’t continue, tho the tongue is still coated
Post Day 1
Sipped OJ, ahhhh. nectar of the Gods. Had probiotics with the first 3 glasses of OJ. Created a veggie soup in a crock pot for tomorrow. Oops, had some for dinner...;-) Was expecting stomach problems of some kind, had none.
Things learned, stupid thoughts and funny experiments.
Jet Stream your Butt Pee and reduce the Mess.
A couple of Good People posted pointers which included a picture and explanation of what was called the Third World Squat and why it was better for evacuation over use of the toilet.
So I get this idea......I raise my left leg and put my foot on the toilet seat. Now I do ponder putting the second foot on the seat but feel the probability of breaking the seat, falling over and....er....shooting the wall might really tic the wife off just a wee bit. So I don’t. (You’re laughing at me, I can tell...;-)
Jackpot! Jet Stream! Coool But, there is an added benefit. The Mess is MUCH less. WOW, I’m conserving toilet paper like you wouldn’t believe! lol
No, I’m not kidding, but if your anus is tender from all the wiping I suggest this technique. You could put several telephone books next to the pot to use. But the effect can be done by simply spreading your cheeks.
Priming the Pump
Have you ever weighed yourself before and after sleeping? I have, I found out I lose about 2
pounds of weight a night. Water loss.
My most effective SWF’s were when I primed the pump. Meaning? Have 8oz of water 30 to 60 minutes before you do the SWF. This allows the body to saturate the tissues from the nights rest. It generally took 15 to 20 minutes for me to drink the SW and 10 minutes from the last sip I was heading for the Throne. All was said and done in an hour or a little over after the first BM or should that be BS (bowel squirt)? lol
Well, I think that’s quite enough. Thanks again to everyone.
