The specimen in your picture appears to be Candida.
Candida passed in the stool looks like a cotton ball; fluffy white/yellow clumps, strings, or branches; or slimey mucous.
It can also be mixed within your stool. The stool can be slimey or have white mixed through it.

hsong said it right, parasites change the gut environment to suit themselves causing high mucus. plus theres mucus from inflammation.
