Oral probiotics would help you a lot IMO. They are small mint type sweets that you suck, releasing xylitol which is good for the teeth, spearmint, vanilla and 3 oral probiotics which compete with the oral bacteria, killing them and taking their place. Spearmint is known to be effective against oral biofilms ie dental plaque. The bacteria produce hydrogen peroxide which is meant to white the teeth and they also freshen the breath. Bad breath is usually caused by an unhealthy bacteria mix.
I think that there are probably a number of different companies that make them, the ones that I have are by Garden of Life called Probiotic Smile. There are 300 million cfu per mint which is not a lot.
Here is a tip. I made them into a yoghurt using a yoghurt maker and they came out quite well. Much cheaper making yoghurt than buying mints every month. I am still on the first pack. lol
