I am wondering if Iodine will kill worms? I have read a bit about it doing so but also that other parasite cleanses need to be done. I have just got my kids a puppy and she is riddled with worms - has been wormed and is now passing (dead thank goodness) big spaghetti-sized roundworms. Am worried that the kids might get these, they wash their hands regularly but you know kids. They are both taking Lugols as am I but I have noticed since getting the puppy a week and a half ago both kids have been grumpy and have dark circles under their eyes so I am wondering if the worms have taken up residence already? Any advice appreciated.

This is a reply to # 2,159,893Dark circles under the eyes can be caused by allergies. I had them as a child and had allergies. I wouldn't be concerned about the kids getting worms from the puppy.- Re: Will iodine kill worms? Ginagirl

No, Iodine dont kill internal worms, but it may help the body to make an unfriendly terrain for them.
To blame a puppy for grumpyness and dark circles under eyes, after just a week or two; no, please!! Other things going on.
I grew up with dogs, horses, cats; they had worms now and again.
I never had them, my siblings never had them, and we rearly washed our hands:) All about terrain.

This is a reply to # 2,159,918OK thanks, perhaps they are allergic to the puppy, but I hope not! I might give them all some diatomaceous earth for a week, see what that does, as well as keeping up the iodine. They may well just be doing some detoxing from the Iodine :-)

This is a reply to # 2,159,970Have both been tested for metals, one is high in lead, the other not. Mercury is quite low in both thankfully. Gut dysbiosis and candida are problem for both but hoping Iodine will help with this.

This is a reply to # 2,159,893Im sure it doesnt help worms.. Ive read that apple cider vinegar helps make an unfriendly terrain for parasites.. I also find it interesting that Iodine is used in the production of acetic acid... and acetic acid is the acid in vinegar.
to me there seem to be at least several similarities
