When I found I had Candida, I did the standard Candida Diet (easy to find via Google)I did it for only 8 weeks religiously but mistakenly thought that was the length of time recommended. It should have been done longer, at least 12 weeks as I recall, but I stopped and went on to
parasite cleansing. Wish I had continued... My Candida disappeared when I did
parasite cleansing when I added Zymex II.
Honestly, like most on this forum, I have run the gamut of cleansing for
parasites and continue to add to my regimen. One day I will write the entire list and believe me it goes from A to Z!
Right now I am not doing herbal remedy, but drug treatment. I have a ways to go...I keep wanting to go back to Parastroy as I loved the psyllium/bentonite clay content and the success it provided regarding 'regularity', but at this time I don't want to mix herbal/drug. It's quite a process this whole thing.
My diet, though not a specific regimen, is relatively 'clean'. (I'm vegetarian, lacto, only no cheese, just yogurt and cream in my coffee), mostly whole foods, very little processed (rice cakes, rice crackers). No sweets except fruit (and to be honest a couple of times a month I will succumb to a piece of dark chocolate). No junk food such as fries/fried food. No sodas. Use green smoothies. All organic fruits/veg. Minimal dairy/grains. Just trying to get the most nutrition I can. The Yogi Detox tea. I had stopped coffee, but after many months with no seeming difference with or without it, started back with decaf once daily during the work week. I'm no saint but have tried to do my best. I want to try going off of fruit for a few months to see if the reduced
Sugar content makes a difference, except I love apples and blue berries!
We all have very individual systems and we have to find what works for us. Not easy to do, though. So glad these forums exist for the knowledge, suggestions and support!
Keep at it and best of luck on your road back to health.
