Many Iodine users have recommended adding vitamin E to the protocol, on researching different brands I noticed that quite a number use soy oil as the carrier or derive the vitamin from.
I know soy is one of those things we must avoid, and the main reason I cook 90% of my meals.
Could it be okay to take these kinds of Vitamin E? These are brands that are readily available to me and fairly priced.

This is a reply to # 2,151,495It is difficult to get a vit E supplement without a little soy oil in it. But lets say you take one capsule a day; the amount is so small, it should not be a problem.
Wheat germ oil is an option.

edit: ooops, looks like I was mistaken. It is sourced from soy oil, but I think what is important is that they formulate the E so it doesn't turn rancid, which of course would defeat the purpose of buying and taking it.- Re: Lots of Vitamin E choices suspen... Professor Terguson

This is a reply to # 2,151,549Yep AC Grace thats the one.. Only one I ever use... Supposedly there are TWO companies that produce natural real Vitamin E.. AC Grace is one of them.. Ive never found the other though.
Unique E is so good that the only place I ever find it is in the Vitamin Shoppe. Health food stores dont seem to ever carry it- Re: Lots of Vitamin E choices suspen... healingmama

This is a reply to # 2,151,555Thanks everyone, I found one from Webber Naturals ( Canadian co) that claims "Only vitamin E product made in Canada that does not contain residual soybean oil, hence it is 100% chemically pure vitamin E.".
My only hesitation is that it is not clear if it has the good things - toconeutrols and mixed tocopherols as others do.
My second choice is Now Foods Advanced Gamma E Complex, though it has soy derivatives, it is more balanced.
Have not decided yet.

What is the source of your Vitamin E?
Mixed Tocopherols – the source for the Vitamin E in this product is soybean oil. However, A.C. Grace uses a proprietary distillation process that extracts all soy oil out of the Vitamin E oil, thus providing a pure, natural form. So, inside the capsule or pump bottle is a pure, natural concentrate mix of alpha, beta, gamma and delta tocopherols with no fillers, additives, colors, wheat, gluten, soy oil, soy protein or flax. Our capsules are a beef gelatin. Our product is certified to be PCR-negative which is the industry recognized classification for products that have been produced and distilled to remove any and all contaminates that could affect purity.
Tocotrienols – the source for the Vitamin E in this product is the Annatto Bean. The same processes are used to provide a pure Tocotrienol product with NO fillers, additives, colors, wheat, gluten, soy oil, soy protein or flax. Our capsules are a beef gelatin.
