Calm down. It isn't a horrible experience, and I am speaking as someone for whom
Liver Flushes (I have done fourteen) are thoroughly unpleasant.
You don't need anything for a successful flush except Epsom salt, olive oil, and grapefruit juice. That's it. I don't use ornithine. Clark advised it to help you sleep through the night of the flush, but most people say it doesn't help. Clark also advised a bunch of herbs for
parasites (like
Wormwood and
Black-Walnut ), but
Andreas Moritz says you don't need them either, and I agree.
Forget betaine hydrochloride. It'll just give you heartburn.
Again, all you need is the
Epsom Salts , the olive oil, and the grapefruit juice. Keep it simple.
For two days, eat no fat. None. And avoid a lot of heavy proteins like meat. I would skip all your ACV and thistle and herb stuff too. Stick to veggies, rice, fruit, etc. You want the bile to begin to build up and you don't want to eat or take anything that will cause it to flow, even supplements. On the third day, eat nothing. At 6 pm take the first dose of Epsom salt. It will taste awful.
At 8, take another dose of
Epsom Salts . You will probably be going to the toilet by this time.
At 10, shake up the half cup of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and half cup of olive oil. Drink it down. It will taste like salad dressing. Immediately go to bed and lie on your back with your head on a couple of pillows.
If you are like me, you won't get much if any sleep. You may have some heartburn and nausea, but you may not. In general, the worse you feel, the better your flush will probably be.
Next morning, at about six or seven or eight or whenever, take another dose of
Epsom Salts . You will be going to the toilet. Take the final dose two hours later.
That's it. It is not a fun experience, but it is not scary and won't do anything really bad to you. During the day and into the next, you will pass a bunch of little chunky-looking clumps that are tan to brown to green. If you pick one up and squeeze it, it will feel like candle wax.
You may not get much the first time or two. You may get what looks a bunch of sand and tan colored grit. It may burn your butt when it comes out, but that means you are getting rid of some really toxic stuff.
Wait three or so weeks and do it again, and then again, and then again. And so on.
You will feel pretty bad right after each flush, if you are like me, because you will have released some toxic stuff that has been in your liver and bile. But you will begin to notice that you are healing. You will begin to notice that health problems you have had for years are getting better.
I have tried everything under the sun for my issues. Regular medicine, alternative medicine, MDs, DOs, naturopaths, quacks, vitamins, minerals, probiotics, herbs, zappers, fasting, prayer, you name it. Most didn't help, and many hurt.
Liver Flushing is the only thing that really began to heal me.
