Awesome post! Thanks for posting.
I am also posting the following information for anyone who would like to know how to be saved:
Step One: Ask yourself this question. Am I a sinner? Please consider the following Bible verse as you answer the question.
Romans 3:23
New King James Version (NKJV)
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
-----------------------------
Step Two: If you have answered yes to the first question you are now ready to go on to the second question. Ask yourself, "Do I want forgiveness for my sins?"
If you have answered yes to the second question and truly want forgiveness for your sins consider the following Bible verse.
Romans 6:23
New King James Version (NKJV)
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
This verse tells us that forgiveness of sins is a gift provided by Jesus. In order for us to have that gift of forgiveness we must accept it for ourselves. If we never receive the free gift, it is never ours.
----------------------------------
Step Three: Now ask yourself, "Do I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead?"
Consider this Bible passage where Jesus explains that He would die for our sins and that we must put our trust in Him to be born again.
John 3
New King James Version (NKJV)
The New Birth
3 There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”
3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”
5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
9 Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?”
10 Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? 11 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.[a] 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but[b] have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

Step Four: If you now believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and rose again from the dead, you are now ready for step four. Ask yourself, "Am I willing to surrender my life completely to Jesus?"
Consider the following verse from the Holy Bible. This verse explains that the only way to be right with God is through Jesus. It explains that there is no other way to God, or to eternal life, or to be saved except through Jesus. Remember that Jesus is alive today because He rose from the dead. Remember that Jesus is God.
John 14:6
New King James Version (NKJV)
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
--------------------------------
Step Five: If you answered yes in step four and you sincerely are willing to surrender yourself to Jesus, ask yourself, "Am I ready to invite Jesus into my life right now." If you answered yes, and desire to receive Jesus as your Lord right now please know that we are saved when we personally accept the truth about Jesus and put our trust in Him and Him alone for our salvation. Please also consider this passage.
Romans 10:9-10
New King James Version (NKJV)
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
----------------------------------------
Step Six: If you have just now made a personal decision to accept Jesus as Lord of your life, you would now pray asking Him to come into your life making Him your Lord.
This is how you would receive the free gift that He offers you. Remember the gift will never be yours unless you receive it.
Here is a suggested prayer.
God, thank you for this free gift of eternal life through Your Son, Jesus. I know I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I want to turn away from sin and I ask You to forgive me for all my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and arose from the dead. I now invite Jesus to come into my life. I realize there is nothing I can do to earn my salvation. I place my complete trust in Jesus alone for my salvation. I now choose to follow Jesus as my Lord. I now receive Your free gift of salvation through Jesus. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit to help me follow Jesus as Lord of my life. Please make me into the person You want me to be.
