I used to be a regular but I have almost not posted for more than a year. Last April, I finally got over Candida and I could get back to a normal diet. In July I fell back (it is often the case after a few months of being able to enjoy sweets - one just is not reasonable anymore) and I am back to a normal lifestyle again.
I wanted to write so as to give hope, Just as evey now and then some members would give me hope - during my 12 years journey back to a normal lifestly - telling me about their success.
i also wanted to let you know about the latest changed I have made, after the diet and the
Liver Flushes (23 of them) and the enemans and the supplements, what has been really helpful to me in the last years have been
1) amino acids - Taurine for the brain fog - but also L tyrosine, Theanine and L- phenylalaline
2) carnosine another amino acids which has antioxydant property that my naturopath (I finally found one hear in Quebec- French Canada) who was tremendously helpful - she could see the yeast in the live blood test - not the yeast she had seen before so she thought it would not be 'candida' but another one. Still, they all react pretty musch the same so she gave me good support (recommending carnosine & ortho adapt
3) jogging daily for 10 to 15 minutes
4) Ortho adapt - for adrenal support
My trip to Nicaragua last April helped a great deal too - the weather there was dry and the yeast did not have it easy anymore . Coming back to Canada, I started having an issue with sugar, but eating a small quantity would work. Eating Coconut + fruit salad daily also helped . It was part of the regular breakfast in Nicaragua and the antifungal properties of cococnut must have helped as well for - all of the sudden I could eat every thing.
