Well you've just totally freaked me out!!
I'm only 23!
I don't feel like my face/body has 'aged' since starting the Candid diet - my veins are just more prominent.
I have heard that Candida can be aging to the body - but as I have followed an 'anti-candida' diet for the past 4 months, I would hope that the Candida will have slowly been killed off - meaning that I won't have to deal with the 'aging effects'.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'Candid crash'? Could you explain further?
I've been following a
healthy Diet (eggs, fruit, vegetables, meat, honey) and taking a good quality probiotic for about 5 months now, and I definitely think that I look far healthier than when I was following my usual diet.
I heard somewhere that when Candida dies, it releases toxins - and these toxins are released in the Lymph system. This would explain why our veins appear more prominent.
Given that I've probably had a Candida overgrowth for a few years, and never had any issues with leg veins - it was only 2 weeks after starting the diet that the veins suddenly started bulging - the toxin explanation seems to be more probable.
Either way, we probably shouldn't make assumptions.
We need to consult with someone who specialises in the treatment of Candida.
I would love to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience (and resolved it!).
Worst case scenario I guess I'll just have to save up and have leg vein surgery to collapse the prominent veins.
Though I would much rather solve the problem naturally.
I hope this was helpful! Thanks for your reply.
And don't worry about 'aging' - I'm sure if you follow a
healthy Diet and exercise your body will recover from the Candida.
