I have recently became aware of a worm infestation in my nasal cavity. This started with a stuffy right nostril, then brown mucus. after using menthol nasal spray, a dark brown wormlike creature came out covered in brown mucus. I am %70 sure it is a worm given the fact that they are shaped in a perfect worm figure and are not breakable even after being in a water filled vial for a few days, the other %30 of uncertainty is my lack of a degree in the field. The brown tint fades to white after being soaked. I went to the doctor after the 2nd worm and they were all shocked and never seen anything like that before. They prescribed me albenza being the only medicine available around my location in Michigan. After a day, 5 more came out. I looked at one under my own microscope to find what looked like cells, concluding it was an organism. I photographed the microscopic finding and the worm itself, im a little concerned after knowing a parasite is living so close to my brain. The doctor called and said it is just mucus from allergies, but with their history of poor diagnosing, and the description of the worm, and the fact of my allergy free history, im looking for a better answer to be safe. I want to know if there is anything like this in existence.
