Some people complain about not being able to gain a pound, others gain weight with parasites. There is no rhyme or reason to it.
The only explanation, based on my experience is that the first couple of times I battled roundworm.....I lost weight that I had gained unexplainably. The last time.....I gained an enormous amount of weight.....I have no doubt that it was the toxins, clogging liver, building in my body and the body has a defense mechanism to pull the toxins that are getting clogged up into the fluids and send them to the tissues, fat cells, and lymph system, (even if you weren't fat to begin with). This protects the organs from damage.
Plus....the liver being clogged with toxins can hinder proper function of hormone (excess estrogen can cause weight gain that wont budge too) and steroid processing like cortisol...which in my case, high cortisol caused me to gain while basically starving.....ingesting no food for days I would gain 4 lbs.
Garlic and some other herbs are known for cleansing the lymph and blood, and assisting the liver in toxin removal, in addition to coffee enema's, and of course keeping the bowels clean. Once again, it's doing wonders for me, and I don't know what my
parasite load is right now, cause I feel like it's not an issue anymore, but my lymph and fluid retention was awful - started garlic recently again, and it is clearing that nicely, I can't stress enough the cleansing ability, in addition to being anti-parasitic. Even doing the drug route to cleanse, it's a good thing to add for the reasons I mentioned above.
