Ok that's good to know.
Before I consider doing this type of thing again I have a bunch of issues.
-I can basically stick to anything so long as I'm not constipated. The constipation problems I have are dealing with removal of all the stored plaque coming off of the small intestine lumen.
This stuff is so tocix, filled with fungus and heavy metals and god knows what, and it's been non stop for over 20 years now.
The best things I've found over the long run are fats and slimy foods. For fats, unfortunately over the long haul the only thing has worked for me is rotating all of the saturated fats which includes for me high fat cheeses, butter/ghee, high fat meats like chicken skin, duck skin, mayonnaise, some avocado. chocolate, cream, etc. I get disgusted pretty quick with all of these fats but it has helped a lot to move things through the small intestine. The healther I'm getting the less I want to go for animal products so that has led me to a lot of yogurt. Not sure if that is allowed on your plan.
Drinking has been a huge issue for me. Water does not work well for me probably due to adrenal issues and electrolyte imbalances. I was getting dehydrated a few years ago so I decided to just make sure I was drinking fluids no matter what. The best things so far have been lemonade - and I make this with unrefined sugar. For some reason sugar helps to absorb these drinks. I'm sure this is not allowed on your program, but faced with the options I always wind up choosing hydration over so called perfect diets as a survival mechanism. If you can comment on this it would be good.
I'm rotating lemonade, ginger tea with unrefined sugar, and some milk- which also helps with constipation since it is sort of like mucous. At this point drinking is as important or more important for me as solid food and has helped me tremendously so I do not want to take a step backward in that direction. Aside from chocolates, which I don't even really like so much, I don't eat any white sugars, as it definitely aggravates my health. But for some reason the unrefined works well with no problems.
Some protein makes me feel good, so I just eat a bit to keep my strength up. Rice in general does not digest well for me at all. I was gluten free for about 17 years with not too many issues. The last few years I've started on gluten again eating sourdough and a bit of pasta. I assume this is not allowed on the program either. It's more of a lesser of evils for me as it's just a way to get some starch in me. Potatoes don't work for me at all. Squash doesn't work great either, it just goes through me. I've been through all the vegetables and there are a limited few that work well like onions, garlic, green beans. The brassicas take out my thyroid. So I just rotate all those and do the best I can, but I can't sustain myself on carbs from vegetables.
That leaves fruits. I do ok on certain fruit juices - most of the ones from the blood type O diet. I assume fruit juices are not allowed either on your diet. Anyway I don't eat a ton of fruits, just here and there. So without my cobbled together diet I can't get enough calories and types of things that help the constipation.
All of this leads me to think that diet, as important as it is, is not my major issue since I've basically done almost every permutation that can be done with limited success. That's why I'm looking into things like protozoa as it could underly the digestive problems I'm having. I'm looking for something that will fix my digestion, not more endless dietary restriction that doesn't ever seem to resolve the problem.
If I could resolve the gall bladder/liver problems then things would change a lot and then I could consider things like your diet, but as it stands everything seems like a catch 22 situation. Same goes for the bloating, if I could resolve that then I could eat more normally and stick to a regimen. I'm not going to go backward and do colonics (did those for years), enemas don't really resolve colon issues farther up than the descending colon. Magnesium is meh, so so, makes me feel strange. Fiber has the opposite effect on me as most people and often aggravates the bloating. I used to love eating salads but now they are one of the worst foods for me.
I went sugar free for many years while gluten free and it never really made a difference in my health. Gluten did make a huge difference for me though, and I could just be dealing with the long drawn out effects of severe gluten damage - the cure is worse than the disease.
I guess that your plan assumes people don't have 20+ years of waste stored in their small intestine, so people lay off the simple sugars and repopulate the gut and their problems go away. I wish it could be that simple for me.
