hi peggyus, it's good to hear at least you have had some improvement although not completely and the supplement you are taking may have helped.
The identical Estrogen I used was plant based and came in a tube of cream which you used by applying daily a small amount, rotating the area, applied to the breast, thigh, arm or leg.
I used this cream for couple of months when in my early postmenopausal stage in 2010 before the flareup of activity occurred and I really cannot think of anything else out of the ordinary that I used that could have brought about such an intensity of activity.
The intensity was on the same scale as when I first became infected back in 2000 which could be felt throughout my body in specific areas and again after that time the activity became less and less over the following years.
On the last occasion it took nearly two years before the activity subsided and peted out except I still have them remaining under the skin of my scalp which is always sore, red and lumpy, caused I suspect by their bacteria and occasionally can feel a small movement there. My hair has thinned quite considerably since my inflamed scalp to what it used to be.
I feel the combination of anti-para medication I took back in 2010 really did not do much in eradicating them, in fact stirred them up more with those meds being ABZ, IVER, PRAZI, DEC and a few other meds, taking several long cycles for each treatment for well over six months.
Although I feel building up my immune defense with quality supplements may have helped me in some way and although I've no idea whether cestode, helminth or other with the para/s I have had, they do seem to drop their productive cycles after the first couple of years.
