I've been getting pains and burning sensations in my stomach area for a few weeks, and unfortunately I am having to take PPIs because the pain is so severe otherwise, anyway my Dr asked for a stool sample to test for H Pylori and on preparing the sample I was surprised to see a dark brown almost black looking stool - do you think this is anything to worry about? Could it be blood? Should I get it checked out promptly?

I also had a parasite found tax unknown result via a Metemetrix text, so just cross-posting this to the parasite section in case anyone notices anything unusual there too.

I should also add that when I get these burning pains, I get burning pains in my head (and sometimes other parts of my body too) - that worries me greatly, can anyone think of what might be causing that? A perforation perhaps?
