I've been juicing for a while, but I think it's time to buy a new juicer. I currently have a Champion, which is great, but I recently bought their greens juicing attachment and was I ever disappointed! It cost over $70, which would be fine if it worked well, but it's made of cheap plastic, is very hard to figure out how to assemble and put on the machine. Then you can put approximately two spinach leaves in at a time (ugh!) and the pulp comes out soaked, so you know you're hardly getting any juice out of it. I think for a very large bag of kale I juiced, which took a very long time, I don't know if I got even an ounce of juice. Then in less than a month it broke. Can anyone recommend a juicer that juices everything, especially, greens, that doesn't cost a mortgage payment?

MoreThis is a reply to # 2,025,461Look into a Samson. It even juices wheat grass. We have had ours since 2004.
It's still going strong. We like it a lot, as it does greens like kale quite well.
It's not real cheap, but not overly expensive.
Don't go with super cheapos, as Dr. Schulze says they burn out quicklly.

I'm very interested in getting the Samson juicer just so I can make my own fresh flaxseed oil

I like it because its quiet (sometimes I use it at midnight, and I neighbors below me). Doesn't fling pulp everywhere, and makes lot of juice. 10 year warranty. The gentleman that reviews juicers in the video posted above does a review on it.- Re: Juicers lwm31

Pulp comes out a lot drier then the centrifuge juicer that I have (my centrifuge juicer sucks tho). I use less product and get more juice. I remember in the review the gentleman mentioned its more efficient with greens, but less with fruits. Its really small too, here... i'll find you a review.

This is the best juicer I have owned. Oh, and cleaning it is easier then my centrifuge. Takes me maybe 3 minutes to clean, the key is to clean it right away. Otherwise the pulp dries to a glue.

This is a reply to # 2,025,675Yes the Omega 804 is excellent (probably the best) for leafy greens, wheatgrass, etc. It's also built like a tank and has fantastic customer service. I had mine for 6 years of heavy juicing when the forward motor stopped working.
Called customer service and they said all I had to do was pull the switch out and reverse it - and it should take only 2 minutes with no tools. HOWEVER, if I preferred they would just send me a new unit. I was stunned - normally I would have taken the brand new unit after 6 years for zero cost, but they were so cool about it I tried reversing the switch anyway. It DID take 2 minutes and was dead simple with no tools - and works like it always has.

It is a good juicer but for me the Omega 8004 is better for what I do.
The Vert 350 is good with greens but produces much more pulp especially with greens. You also have to cut up anything with strings in it like Celery or greens or it will clog the outlet port. The Vert is easy to clean when compared to a centrifugal juicer but the 8004 is way easier to clean than the Vert.

It cleans up quickly and goes back together quickly, so I'm able to juice each morning with limited time.

I did a little research before getting mind, and found that if you primarily want to juice greens, a masticating juicer is the best for that.
It also became clear through my research that you are going to get what you pay for, and cheaper juicers will mean you're missing out on more of the juice and tossing more of your vitamins and nutrients down the drain if you opt for something less expensive. Good luck!- Re: Juicers Johny Apple Bomb

The little port on the 8004 is perfect for a carrot, rolled up leafy greens, or Celery sticks. You will have to cut up some things like apples but it is barley noticeable.
The VERT has a bigger port but you have to cut up stringy leafy greens, Celery into very small pieces to keep it from clogging. And if you feed it too quickly it will clog up. The 8004 will gobble up all those whole with no effort.
The only thing you have to watch for on the 8004 is if you juice something like lemons one after another it will clog up the juice outlet after 4 or so lemons. But you also have to rotate produce with the Vert to clear out the pulp.
The Vert is the best for the cantaloupe - carrot drink though. And maybe a few others.
I haven't really found anything the 8004 won't juice well yet.
