Sounds like trying, and "failing" have been a huge part of life, and served you well! We all get a payoff from whatever we do/believe, including the way we view time. (EFT can help uncover the blocks and stuck places in all that, so we can let go of hanging onto old programs and conditioning.)--It's all about coming to see that; so, it sounds like you've literally come a long way! However. . .
I kind of like the concept of *not trying*. It seems so radically new and removed from a need to suffer through the long path. Not being sarcastic here--I think the Natural Hygiene approach to eating, or what some might, in an updated way, call a "nutritarian" approach, is possibly the best, all around, and the most sensible way, maybe the easiest too, to eat. That paired with "conscious eating", as it's been called, (which really involves a subtle shift of the mind into taking in the serving, with the eyes, and thereby feeding the body before the food ever touches the lips), when used to help people lose lots of weight; these two seem like two rather effortless ways to go. To me.
It's nice to get assistance from the universe, and with a slight shift in one's perspective, the magical thing is, the assistance was always there, waiting.
Which is not to say there isn't something required in the way of what a person puts into the enterprise. \\\Whether that be of water fasting, losing weight, changing one's relationship to food, or getting off the dope that's IN most food.
But I think we tend to build a church around the notion of
'no pain, no gain'. Just something to be aware of, maybe.
Not just you, but all of us. Because, in the end, if you free up the energy that goes into so much trying (which sounds like working very hard),then, there's more Vital energy available to see how well life truly works, if we often can just get out of its way. Having a good palette (like an artist's palette) approach to eating, where you get the widest range of colours, not all in one day, but over time; the freshest, and in-season (because the minerals are all in the right balance for where you live, given the season), and all this, as naturally arising as possible--- This goes a long way in itself. We should let Nature offer us its bounty instead of breaking it into parts and pieces, and controlling it so much. First on the list is always to remove all junk. (That's like opening the prison gates.) Which really means anything processed. Food or drink. Other things start to fall away, just naturally.
It's all about which wolf you feed. You/anyone reading could curezone google that--it's a little parable, told on the Natural Healing forum. worth taking to heart.
best, Chiron
