OOps, sorry, I looked for this topic but, you know, fatigue, I didnt see it and I started another [Feb 2nd].
I have been using the oil, rub it on.
I also see a reduction in pain and it actually takes down a spasming calf muscle. Immediately, no 2 wks waiting period, batteries included.
As for baths, it would be a LOT cheaper to use basic
Epsom Salts , which are made from the same source as my oil is - ocean water.
The RATIO would not matter when diluting it in a bath, would it? And the cost:
My bottle of oil cost $20, a bag of
Epsom Salts costs $1.50 and has, I would guess, at least 10 times as much Magnesium.
The advantage of the oil rub is that the oil holds it to the skin, otherwise you could just use
Epsom Salts .
It was my Doctor who agreed that topical Magnesium works better than oral supplements, as we just don't absorb much orally [something about "first pass liver"]
