I like Trappers 2% with magnets. I take it first thing in the morning. I put 2 dropper fulls in 16 oz of water and sip on it until I am sick of the taste just to get the elemental Iodine (iodine don't taste wonderful) then I mix in 1 tsp vitamin c and 1/2 tsp aluminum free baking soda to buffer (which turns it into SSKI ?). Shake it and burp it a few times then drink it. And follow up with co supps. I like SSKI , for some reason I crave it and I do better on it than Iodine like lugols. I can definately tell the difference in the SSKI with magnets. It is smooth and I don't seem to have all the side effects on it that I do when I take iodoral or Lugols (pimples and stomach upset). Maybe Trapper can explain that better. Some people do better with lugols, we are all different. Experiment! do what makes you feel good!

I'm surprised no one responded to this. What I know for sure is that Iodoral is pretty much Lugol's in pill form. The 12.5 is normal supplementation. But for issues, the larger doses run up to 100mg. I got up to 50mg and had foaming issues that was drowning my lungs. But I'm fine at 37.5mg plus my armor pig thyroid. I'm still looking for healing. I just found this site that goes through the iodoral doses.

As already suggested by Jsusnme, 26 months earlier, try Iodoral tablets. According to Optimox, the maker of these tablets, colloidal silica is utilized in the tablet specifically to avoid gastric upset:

"Because administration of I[odine] in liquid solution is not very accurate, [it] may stain clothing, has an unpleasant taste and causes gastric irritation, we decided to use a precisely quantified tablet form containing 5 mg Iodine and 7.5 mg Iodide as the potassium salt. TO PREVENT GASTRIC IRRITATION, the iodine/iodide preparation was absorbed unto a colloidal silica excipient; and to eliminate the unpleasant taste of iodine, the tablets were coated with a thin film of pharmaceutical glaze."
