Great quality picture,...sure wish I could answer your question because I have them too and have no idea! Sometimes they will appear 'braided', 'twisted', or have almost an 'armor'. The hunk to the right looks like the head. It is beaky-faced and will freak you the heck out. Yours has been dead a while longer than some of the 'fresh' guys I get.
