I had the cavitational surgery about 12 years ago, and the problems I was experiencing were eliminated.
The tooth was right below the right side jaw hinge which would catch, and click when I chewed, or just opened my mouth.
Pain from the jaw hinge down the back of my head and neck, and into my shoulder.
So far a complete success.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,985,497Well I'm a bit confused ... my Dentist diagnosed cavitation on # 12 area. I have never had a root canal anywhere, # 12 has a pure porcelin crown and 13 & 14 both have gold inlays (he wants to replace those too). I had # 16 extracted probably 20 years ago. So from what I'm reading on here most everyone had the root canal or extraction as the cause of the cavitation. Just don't understand why he's referring to # 12 opposed to 16 where the extraction was, unless that whole side is infected. Any thoughts?? Can you get the bone infection from other things too?

Did he use a cavitat machine to make the diagnosis?
Root canals as I understand it are not the only reason to get an infection in the jaw bone.
Any tooth that has been removed, and the ligaments that were holding that tooth in place not removed [socket cleaned out] could cause the problem too.

This is a reply to # 1,985,778No cavitat machine. He did that cone beam xray. Diagnosed them on all sides of my mouth but the main one is UL. I'm going for a second opinion Thursday. I don't think that dentist has the cavitat machine either. They just treat them w/ ozone is what they said. The first doctor said its a big surgery and I'd be in recovery for 3 weeks. It just scares me since I've never heard of it. Thanks for the link I will check it out.

This is a reply to # 1,985,785My dentist used an electodermal machine called a voll machine. Seemed a little odd at first but it works.

This is a reply to # 1,985,795Is that the alternative machine to the Cavitat? So most dentists that do Cavitations don't have the Cavitat and they just go off the xray or the voll machine like your dentist had?

This is a reply to # 2,141,139Hi all...i need a name of the best biological dentist in US...the lab culture during my first cavitation surgery show that i have an ABNORMAL growth of staphylococcus aureus jawbone infection...My first cavitation surgery is not successful(he use cavitat machine), the cavitat machine shows 100% normal/healthy but when he cut my gums he found 3 holes in my jawbone that is conncted to sinus maxilaris, the hole is 1 cm and it is a huge one and located in the dangerous area too...But too bad it not too successful, so i need to find another dentist(the best dentist for cavitation surgery that i could find)...please inbox me the name of the best dentist for cavitation surgery that you know(and has proven they could heal you 100%), after that i will decide which one to choose for my second cavitation surgery...Right now i am thinking of dr.Michael Margolis in Mesa Arizona for my second cavitation surgery, he has cavitat machine too but i don't know who is THE BEST and THE REAL dentist(that has cavitat machine, electrodermal machine and cone beam test) for cavitation surgery to cure my jawbone infection 100%...thank you all, i appreciate your info

This is a reply to # 2,179,196Thank you very much phelp...But there is someone also recommend me going to dr.Blanche Grube for my second cavitation surgery ...So i am really confuse between both of them...Could you please inbox/PM me who is the better one and more experienced for cavitation surgery ? Because i am from Indonesia and will have to go a long way(27 hours by plane) to US, so it can only be one destination and i want to make sure i choose the best dentist, not to mention my first cavitation in US is not successful, but i am SUPERRRR grateful of my first cavitation surgery because the culture lab from the cavitation showed abnormal growth of staphylococcus aureus bacteria on my jawbone(jawbone infection), but it seems that the dentist miss one spot of cavitation area and didn't clean my jawbone throughly...please know, the dentist that i go in US is also very experience for cavitation surgery, so i want my second cavitation surgery to be 100% successful this time...thank you very much Phelp, i really appreciate it

This is a reply to # 1,985,795My dentists assistant used some sort of a machine ...if I wasn't so freaked out about the procedure I would recall the name of the machine . Anyhow all tbe extraction sites in my mouth were checked for level of infection and the testing machine was inaccurate it predicted the least infected site would go last, well I waited almost nine months for the dentist to get to this wisdom tooth extracton site and that was where the major infection was, so I think so machine testing are better than others . I'm not a believer yet because of what happened to me
My dentist used centrifuge machine to spin your blood and injected into the site after surgery there is really NO real pain afterwards just swelling bleeding then you heal up my dentist was having me wait for three months to return.
