I really like this stuff and never heard of it before.
Perhaps its been discussed here before?
So how did I find this stuff?? I am in the future looking to detox heavy metals from my body. I had quite a few metal fillings in my mouth, now removed, and also as a child use to inquisitively play with mercury. I would break my parents thermometer and play with the stuff.
I found this video on youtube:

Its really long, discussing detoxing mercury. If you have time, I think you will find it fascinating. I checked Dr. Shade's products and liked them. 'Cept there too expensive. The
Colon Cleanse product is $150 per month.
I checked the ingredients and looked online to find another product, but at a reasonable price. I was looking specificially for a "silica based" product. That's when I found the diatomaceous earth. Its 89% silica.
I usually don't buy supplements unless someone with a
Science background says they like it. Its recommended favorably by:
Galen D. Knight, PhD, Chemistry, University of Texas, and
Kaayla T. Daniel, PhD, Nutritional Sciences, University in Cincinnati.
there comments are here about this product (under "a dirt cheap solution".... scroll down):

The product is diatomaceous earth. I had a very slight headache for 2 days when I first started taking it. I was already feeling better with my supplement change (iodine).
Now I feel like a zillion buck. Really.

I found it kinda hoaky that you can also use it to kill bugs (I'm not kidding). Its sorta similar to the cage-like structure of zeolite, except zeolites, according
to Dr. Shade, trap more mold than heavy metals. Its really cheap too. Its a pretty big container for 20 bucks with shipping. Which is going to last me a long time.
Its worth checking out in my opinion. Steve
