I agree with you and NH, to not use vitamins during a fast, since there are not naturally extracted, in most cases, in their form sold in store. Although, there are proven benefits for people with certain conditions/deficiencies while not fasting.
In my mind there is difference between weak due to low blood pressure, resulting from electrolyte deficiency (-ies) and weak due to depletion of fat and amino-acids, and lastly weak due to detoxing. In the first case, people have shared on this forum that, pinch of salt makes them feel better and makes them able to continue the fast. If this is the condition to get the benefits, exponentially growing with the duration of the fast, I do not feel like it is a compromise, rather: a gain.
I would also underline that the man-combined/manufactured
table salt has nothing to do with
Sea Salt .
Sea Salt has myriad of macro-, micro- and trace elements and electrolytes, while
table salt has limited, artificially made up mixture of substances, that will harm you with regular use. Check the labels on
table salt packages: sodium chloride, ferrous sulfate, thiosulfate (!), Aluminum (!!!), Silicium dioxide (as high as 30%) = sand !
... the difference with
Sea Salt is pretty much obvious.
