My mom has emphysema, which I believe is something that heals and the inhalers keep them addicted, and the inhalers are spiriva and advair.
I have had her on 50mg lugol's 5% since May 15, 2012 on and off.
At the beginning, of the iodine, she was wheezing alot, especially after taking it.
Now, her wheezing is less.
Yesterday, she has done more walking than she has since September 2011 and didn't wheeze at all.
Today, she went with me for a drive and after getting out of the car in the heat, said she was having trouble breathing.
She started wheezing and then, I realized that her wheezing is anxiety induced.
Perhaps, another couple months on the iodine will take care of that and/or get her off of those bromide inhalers.

My mom was on oxygen only for a few hours per night for a few months.
It didn't seem to make much difference.
What made the difference was NAC, serrapeptase, raw milk colostrum, and Vitamin D levels at optimum.
She tried CS in the nebulizer a couple times, but didn't want to do it due to her lungs getting irritated.
She also, tried the H2O2 and didn't want to continue it either.
I really think the CS would have made improvements faster, but she was also, going thru benzo withdrawal.
That alone is hell.

Exactly, anxiety and panic.
She seems to go a long way walking without wheezing one day, only to walk a few feet another day and wheeze.
Especially, since her pulse oxygen was historically on ly 91% and after I got her on supplements and her D levels up, her pulse ox went up to 97%. It took about 4 months.
Iodine calms anxiety and panic problems and I believe they are due to thryoid and digestive issues.
