hi. i usually write too much but i realize that to be heard one must be brief, so im going to try to keep this as brief as possible while still addressing all my concerns and details.
basically what i want to know is what tests i need to get done. my specific primary health problems are described towards the bottom. thanks for any ideas beforehand.
i have had so many health problems for years and years (almost a decade) and every frigging test i get done shows no warning signs to doctors so i have a hard time even convincing them anything is wrong with me. for the past year or so ive really given up trying to get a diagnosis and decided to just live out my days...
until a few months ago. now i have so much pain walking and doing things that i cant just ignore my symptoms any longer. i feel like i may lose my legs and that perhaps some disease mechanism inside me has finally fully activated and i do not have much time left.
the cause was from a few months ago. i fell really hard on the side of my knee. it grew into a cystlike growth and hurts to walk on now. whats further concerning, is that my other knee also has a different looking growth on it now (off a different part of the bone) and that too is now painful to walk on. im seriously losing my mind and ive had 2 xrays, both of which don't seem to warn the doctors of anything dangerous. what the heck!?!?!??!!?
i saw my doctor yesterday and he just shrugged off my test results and concerns saying i have nothing to worry about. he says that the wound looks normal and that it is simply healing. unbelievable. ive never had this much pain last this long after a wound. could he have read the xray wrong? i guess the xray doctor wouldn't have wrote up the analysis of the results wrong... but geez i cant believe it.
i pushed him to do some bloodwork to make sure because i am suffering and in so much pain that i feel there has to be something going on. he finally gave in and agreed to write up blood work to check my cbc(complete blood count), liver function panel 7 tests, calcium level and vitamind 25.
if there is some kind of cancer going on, (or other issue in my bones) it will HAVE to show some kind of abnormalities in my blood work right? or is that not always true? shouldn't i expect my white blood cells to be elevated or decreased if i have something serious going on? or other abnormalities?
i just don't know. i hope so.
see i REALLY want to try on some kind of extreme treatment ASAP because i am scared out of my mind, and really sick of being sick.. but i realize that i MUST have a diagnosis of at least some sort before i can really try something dangerous and powerful like cesium chloride or anything related. This is just causing me even more frustration and hopelessness. i want to take action now!! ive wanted to do something for yearssssss but ive been unable to try anything extreme because i can only guess at what might be the cause of all that is wrong with me since it seems impossible to diagnose!!!
so what im wondering is, if all this blood work comes back normal, what kind of tests do i need to get next!!? to get diagnosed?!? i even had an mri last year which seemingly did not show anything of concern. so i guess that would rule out autoimmune problems like ms? i don't even know. heh.
i just cannot believe that i can be afflicted with so many horrible health problems and no blood work or any tests seem to show anything to worry about. it is absurd!
my full range of symptoms are as follows :
-knees have bump like growths on them and ache.. both while resting and to walk on, but walking is worse. before all this for the past 2 years my balance has been off and i have trouble walking straight.
-digestion gets worse and worse. i try to take fiber tabs to keep my bowels functioning normally because i occasionally get constipated really bad and i can feel some hard spots in parts of my digestive tract. i always felt this might be from a partial necrotic intestine or impacted bowel obstruction or maybe from having some kind of growths in there, but ive been unable to convince my doctor to refer me to a gi specialist to get a colonoscopy or something to find out what the heck.
-i have black floater spots across my vision. ive done all the research and have read about things such as cmv, cytomegalovirus (a form of herpes i know) which can attack the eyes if an individual has a weakened immune system. i believe ive been tested for herpes and various std's (aids included) none of which result in any diagnosis, just like all my other tests. ive been seen by eye specialists 2 times and they told me they see no visible retina detaching or anything to warn them of any oncoming blindness. i've also read that there can be digestive/gut diseases that can relate to the eyes however, but how is it they can't they find ANYTHING?? i fully believe im probably going blind but no one believes me and so i dont know what to do.
so what kind of tests do you think i need to get done? any ideas? this is just getting so ridiculous and ive had it with suffering without a diagnosis for so long. i wish i was suicidal so i could just off myself, because im sure most people in my situation would have by now... but, i still want to live.
is there some special secret blood work i need to get to show abnormalities? what other kinds of tests should i demand?
*so frustrated*
well. guess i ended up writing too much as always. sigh. hope someone reads through.
thanks for reading appreciate any ideas!!
