I just left an appointment with the endocrinologist and what a waste of my time and money! I'm so upset. I'm running out of covered doc visits.
He said that I'm perfectly normal, it's all in my head and suggested that I see about taking some antipsychotics.
He wouldn't listen to anything I had to say. My last appointment with my internalist was horrible too, she said I'm perfectly healthy and she doesn't know why I have all these "symptoms" and pretty much just told me she didn't know and good luck with that.
I'm NOT CRAZY!! These things are happening to me. My hair won't stop falling out... I don't even know who I am anymore. I'm so upset! I just need help... I need to feel better... I'm so tired feeling cold and spacey and EXHAUSTED!!!
Had to vent it out to you all... Nobody understands what I'm goin through.

WE understand, friend! You are NOT crazy. You know that. We know that! Whatever you have to do to remind yourself of that. Make yourself remember how much healthier you were before. Keep your hope that you will be that healthy again someday. Be thankful for every day (or even hour) that you feel well. Don't wait for validation from doctors. That can be devastating. If you get validation from a doctor, consider that a bonus! (A few people have, but it's rare) Those are my little blurbs of advice. Oh...and KEEP YOUR CHIN UP! We love you and are here for you!

See if it fits you... especially if your IUD had copper in it.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,956,317Sorry to head that you have a piece of sh1t doc experience, there are many of those around. However, there are a few good ones that LISTEN to patients and ADDRESS patients issues, instead of calling patients crazy and dismissing anything they say that does not fit within the conventional box. Find a new doc, find one quick and NEVER go back to a doctor that does not work with you.
